Reaching all the venues is easy and to help you plan we’ve compiled some handy travel information including bus, train and walking routes.

Tuesday – Saturday 11am – 5pm

Tuesday, Wednesday,  Saturday and Sunday 12pm-6pm

Thursday and Friday 12pm-8pm

Getting to Penarth from Cardiff

Train stations and bus stops are marked on the map below.

1. Travelling by Bus

Routes 92,93,94 :

Monday – Friday – 10 mins
Saturday – 10 mins
Sunday – 30 mins

You’ll be able to get on the bus at the bus stop Wood Street JQ (near Cardiff Central Station) and get off at the bus stop Penarth Station close to Plymouth Road where The Turner House is located.


Trains from Cardiff central and Grangetown to Penarth leave approx every 15 mins.

Trains from Ninian Park to Penarth leaving approx every 30 mins.

Getting to Chapter

Routes: 61, 17, 18

You can get on the bus at Westgate street (c) and off at Suffolk House (d) or Canton Police Station (e)



You can also walk between National Museum Cardiff and Chapter, walking takes between 20-30 minutes. We’ve marked out a city route and park route on the map below.
