Artes Mundi partners and supporters

 

Artes Mundi works in partnership with a large number and wide range of organisations across the public, private, arts and education sectors.

It is publicly funded by the Welsh Assembly Government, Cardiff Council, Arts Council Wales and through a partnership with Amgueddfa Cymru – National Museum Wales.

The principal sponsors for Artes Mundi 4 are Bank of America Merrill Lynch, who have sponsored the international selection and judging processes, and St David’s Dewi Sant.

Other sponsors are Admiral, Legal & General, Starbucks, Confused.com, First Great Western and, from the higher education sector University of Wales Institute Cardiff (UWIC) and ATRiuM, University of Glamorgan.

SkyArts returns as TV media partner to Artes Mundi this year as part of their 24 arts partnerships a year, supporting arts across the UK.  They will go behind the scenes of the Exhibition in a 10 minute documentary which will play on Sky Arts from 26/03/10 and will be available to watch online at www.skyarts.co.uk/artesmundi4.
The Western Mail is a media partner and will publish a special Artes Mundi Supplement with the newspaper on 9 March.  This will also be available as a free pick up at the Museum and other cultural venues.

Artes Mundi has received an investment from Arts & Business Cymru to develop their creative partnerships with the corporate sector.  Arts & Business Cymru’s Investment Programme is made possible by funding from the Welsh Assembly Government and Arts Council Wales.

Trusts & Foundations supporting Artes Mundi 4 are the Foyle Foundation, the Esmée Fairbairn Foundation, the Garfield Weston Foundation, the Colwinston Charitable Trust, who are supporting the Live Guides once again, the Waterloo Foundation, the Myristica Trust, the Gwendoline & Margaret Davies Charity and the Derek Hill Foundation.  Wales Arts International and the Contemporary Art Society for Wales are also supporting.

Artes Mundi’s joint project with Fairbridge Cymru is supported under the Reach the Heights programme which is a Welsh Assembly Government project in receipt of funding from the European Social Fund (ESF) in Wales.
