Assistant Curator (Wales Venice 10) 2022

We are seeking a part-time (3 days) Assistant Curator to work with the Artes Mundi team and with Arts Council Wales to plan and deliver the Wales Venice 10 artist development programme of events and meetings as part of the fellowships, and with the Artes Mundi team and artists selected for the commissions. This is an exciting opportunity to welcome new talent into our dedicated curatorial team and support artists, curators, writers, and others working in the visual arts in Wales
Role details
- One year fixed term contract
- Salary fee is £15,000 for the post
- Part-time (3 days/22.5 hours per week). The post holder will be asked to undertake occasional evening and weekend work and attend Artes Mundi events, prior notice will be given
- 15 days annual leave (plus bank/public holidays)
- Managed by the Curator and Director but will work with all members of the Artes Mundi team and across different projects
- The Artes Mundi office is located at the National Museum Cardiff but all team members are currently working from home. The Assistant Curator will be supported to work from home as necessary.
