On behalf of BIPOC Artist Wales Network/Held Space Programme, you are warmly invited to join us for our first Artist Symposium ‘You’re an Artist, Sit in it’. This is an opportunity for BIPOC artists from across Wales to gather and acknowledge the positive contribution BIPOC artists make to the art eco -system across the arts sector in Wales through workshops, performances and panel discussions.

 

Designed to be creative and informative with networking opportunities throughout, the day aims to equip artists with tools and resources to navigate the industry, build agency, confidence, ways to sustain and move forward with your practice as well as owning who you are as an artist and ‘Sitting With It’.

This event has been developed by BIPOC artists for BIPOC artists across the arts and programmed to address matters of relevance in a safe and encouraging environment.

Though the event is for artists, if you are a Curator of colour and would like to attend to meet artists of colour to connect, you are more than welcome to join us on the day.
