She specialises in film and video installations, sometimes mixing newly shot material with archive footage, often examining questions of identity and visual culture. She exhibited at Documenta in Kassel 2002, at the Yokohama Triennale, 2002 and at the Venice Biennale, 2001. She has also shown in London, Europe, South Africa, Japan and the USA.
